HSCB is a statutory board, which has been set up as part of the Every Child Matters reforms, and requires all organisations that work with children to cooperate to keep children safe from harm. The Hertfordshire SCB agrees how local services and professionals should work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
Herts CVS Group
Hertfordshire CVS Group, a group of the nine Councils for Voluntary Service that provide support services to voluntary and community organisations in the county. In addition, Herts CVS Group is a valuable source of information on new developments and good practice in the management of voluntary organisations.
