Working Together Better to Help Parents into Employment

HTDC was commissioned by HCC Childhood Support and the Child Poverty Action Group to facilitate 2 workshops. These were targeted at Childrens Centre Managers with the following aims:

Half day workshops were held on 18th March in Watford and 27th March in Stevenage.

Workforce Development for Adult Social Care Organisations 2012 - 13

HTDC has secured funding from Hertfordshire County Council  for the delivery of a Voluntary Sector Workforce Development Programme in Hertfordshire for organisations providing adult social care.

The programme will run until 31st March 2013 and will include the provision of:

• Advice and Guidance for voluntary sector organisations delivering adult social care
• A programme of training courses for the voluntary sector
• Places on Preparation to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) courses for tutors working in either private or voluntary sector providers of adult social care.
